Clay has always intrigued me because of its inherent versatility and tactical qualities. As a sculptural medium, clay adds stability, structure
and fragility all at the same time. Clay can be fickle and unforgiving, making for endless exploration. Ultimately, clay gives me the 3-dimensionalty I need and the trans-formative quality that has the capacity to hold my attention, peak my interest and adds intrigue to my art process.
